Community hospitals allow people to receive treatment close to home, taking pressure off services at the RD&E and delivering better outcomes for patients.

However, under the Conservatives, we’ve seen these vital services run down with swathes of beds being removed in Honiton, Axminster, Seaton, and Ottery St Mary.

We need to give community hospitals the support they need to deliver quality treatment and help discharge people.

That's why I am fighting for the Government to set up a Community Hospital Fund to bring back these lost beds and get people the care they deserve.
