Back Richard's campaign to save Seaton Hospital

Seaton Hospital is a much-loved community asset. That's why it's deeply concerning that there are now proposals on the table to sell-off and demolish a whole wing of the facility.

We’ve seen the damage caused when community hospital facilities were scaled back. People struggle to get the care they need and it adds pressure at other hospitals like the Royal Devon & Exeter. I have constituents telling me that they don't feel able to look after their elderly spouse in their own home.

The local community came together to help raise the money to build this ward. Allowing NHS Property Services to strip it away now undermines all that hard work and puts the hospital's long-term future at risk.

That's why I am campaigning to stop these plans and instead allow the space to be given back to the community to deliver a new 'Care Hub' which can offer greater support for local people.

If you agree that our hospital is important and needs protecting, then please sign my petition and help us stand up for Seaton.
