Tiverton & Honiton MP Richard Foord has announced his first ever ‘Summer Tour’ of local communities will kick off in the coming weeks.

The MP plans to take advantage of the good weather to hold public events across our towns and villages, where residents can meet their Member of Parliament in an informal setting and raise any issues they may have.

The first stop will take place at Branscombe Village Hall at 9:30am on Monday 31st July, with subsequent events planned later that day in Beer, Seaton, and Axmouth.

Residents are encouraged to drop by if they want a quick chat and to meet their local Member of Parliament.

The MP also urged residents with more complex concerns that may require more time to get in touch directly with his office directly, so they can get the help they need.

Richard Foord, Liberal Democrat MP for Tiverton & Honiton said:
“I love getting out and about across our part of Devon, which is glorious in the summertime.
“The aim of my first ever Summer Tour is to get out into local communities and hear directly from you the things that you want to see me champion as your representative.
“The first stop this year is Branscombe, where residents can say hello, have a chat and let me know what they want to see improved locally and nationally.”
